How it started...
George de Groot Laser Grading & Excavating Inc. has a long and successful history of superior precision laser grading that includes numerous projects, large and small.
After working in the grading and leveling industry for eight years in the
Netherlands, I started my own business in 1990. My original intention was to work with greenhouses, as well as parks and recreation services. However, I soon expanded the business to include sports fields and related athletic surfaces in response to the growing success of athletic operations. In particular, the artificial turf fields became booming business in the Netherlands, and my specialized equipment and lasers were in demand. Consequently, I partnered with one of the leading Dutch companies in the construction of artificial turf fields; our quality teamwork was recognized and requested. Part of my work history includes a number of high quality sports facilities which were approved for FIFA.
In 2009, I moved with my wife Miranda and our two daughters from the Netherlands to Canada. Now operating as George de Groot Laser Grading & Excavating Inc., I continue to offer fine craftsmanship with precision laser grading.
Using our advanced equipment brought from the Netherlands, George de Groot Laser Grading & Excavating Inc. has prospered in Canada. In the last few years we have successfully completed several greenhouse projects, and have also worked in partnership with contractors to develop a high quality finish to several sports fields and related recreational surfaces.
